Where do the funds go?
Itsy provides financial relief for families in ways such as:
· Parking (hospital parking costs are extremely expensive, especially if you’re parking every day for months)
· Food (with a child in the hospital the last thing families are thinking about is groceries and preparing food. When Moms & Dads are spending 10-12 hours a day with their child in the hospital a meal is very much needed, but not often top of priority for them)
· Accommodations (there are many out of town families from as far away as Sault St. Marie who stay in London for months, often away from their other children and support of family & friends)
· Medical equipment (most insurance does not cover things such as breast pump rentals, special car seats for preemies, vitamins for a premature baby and more)
· Baby supplies (most parents of preemies are not prepared for the early arrival of their child and therefore don’t have any of the necessary items to bring a baby home)
· And much more!

NICU at Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre is a registered charitable organization: 118852482RR0001. An electronic tax receipt will be issued instantly for all donations over $10.
Since Itsy’s inception in 2008, close to $40,000 has been raised to alleviate the costs tied to gas, groceries, hospital parking, medical equipment rentals needed by families and much more.
